We were told to buy some magazines and do some automatic pictures again using different images from the magazines.
I didn't enjoy doing these at all, with my kind of pathway and style I just couldn't come up with anything decent that I liked.
I also created this paper building but I didnt really do anything with it.
Unfortunately I don't have anything else to put at this point.
This project was a weird one for me I enjoyed it for the for the most part but I didn't really get along with the automatic drawing, I did try it and I didn't mind drawing automatically but painting automatically and using the magazines just isn't my style, I would rather take time on my work then just drawing anything hastily that in my mind wont be as strong but I suppose it could just be me being stubborn.
Apart from the automatic drawing I created some nice pieces of work, such as these two characters which I thought were interesting.
I tried experimenting with a different material as well which I enjoyed at first again but after awhile I got bored of it, I think if I had maybe experimented with something else I have stayed more interested but as I said before I guess I'm just stubborn, you can't help what you like I suppose.
I did enjoy this project it was an odd one but the thing that I got out of it was the style that I drew the characters in, while I am right now trying to go more realistic, I now know that using shapes is actually a really good and interesting way to make characters as I've never really tried doing it before, so it's definitely a skill that may come in handy in the future.

Parade 3D characters 2
After doing my other character I wanted to try it again this one kept going wrong, I got all of the proportions wrong so I ended up making a second one which I think turned out a bit better. I never finished the new one though as I think at this point I was honestly getting a little bit fed up with doing these.
Parade 3D characters 1
After doing 2D paper characters in my sketchbook I decided to go a little more 3D so I began making a support for the character,

FMP First thoughts
I drew this picture while it was fresh in my head before we started the FMP but I've decided not to do anything with it right now.
Over the Easter holidays I've been thinking about my FMP a lot, I did a small doodle of a character and showed it to my boyfriend and his reaction wasn't very good, Her design was awful and it bothered me since I've had problems recently regarding my characters.
I recently bought a new tablet to help with my drawing and to give me a more convenient way of digitally drawing instead of lugging my laptop around, so taking the advice of my boyfriend, and paying attention to his style I looked at some people and drew them realistic as possible while maintaining my own unique style to them around and honestly I am so happy with the results.
I decided to try drawing some of my characters in my new style and yet again it's a definite improvement.
Now that I have a new improved style I feel so ready for my FMP and can't wait to start doing some
ideas.

I think it's definite improvement from my old style the only thing I have to do now is keep to this style and not revert back to my old one.
