FMP Character Pigsy

Pigsys original design

In the novel there is pig character called Zhu Bajie or Pigsy who is a half pig half man monter.

In the book Pigsy was once an immortal who was the Marshal of the Heavenly Canopy commanding 100,000 naval soldiers of the Milky Way, he drank too much during a celebration of gods and attempted to flirt with the moon goddess Chang'e, resulting in his banishment into the mortal world. He was supposed to be reborn as a human, but ends up in the womb of a female boar due to an error at the Reincarnation Wheel, which turns him into a half-man half-pig monster. Zhu Bajie was very greedy, and could not survive without eating ravenously. Staying within the Yunzhan Dong ("cloud-pathway cave"), he was commissioned by Guanyin to accompany Xuanzang to India and given the new name Zhu Wuneng.
However, Zhu Bajie's indulgence in women led him to the Gao Family Village, where he posed as a normal being and wedded a maiden. Later, when the villagers discovered that he was a monster, Zhu Bajie hid the girl away, and the girl wailed bitterly every night. At this point, Xuanzang and Sun Wukong arrived at the Gao Family Village and helped defeat him. Renamed Zhu Bajie by Xuanzang, he consequently joined the pilgrimage to the West.

 In my story he lives with his mother and helps run a fry up van, him being the head fry cook.
After Umi tells him of her plans to found out about her past he decided to join her to get a break from his overbearing mother for awhile.

Like in the novel hes a womanizer and has a big appetite although he has a kind heart in my version and acts like the big brother of the group and looks out for everyone.

In my version he use to date the moon goddess Chang'e but instead of her being a moon goddess shes a whoreish sheep who after finding out his plans of traveling with Umi and his other friends she breaks up with him.

I wanted Pigsy to be the bulky character of the group so I looked at a character called Barret from a game called Final fantasy 7 to help me with proportions.


I also looked at some other humanoid pig characters as reference.
