Sandy's original design

His First design

The 3D model I made that inspired me

In the novel Sandy was once a celestial Curtain Lifting General, who stood in attendance by the imperial chariot in the Hall of Miraculous Mist. He was exiled to the mortal world and made to look like a monster because he accidentally smashed a crystal goblet belonging to the Queen Mother of the West during a Peach Banquet. The now-hideous immortal took up residence in the Flowing Sands River, terrorizing surrounding villages and travelers trying to cross the river. However, he was subdued by Sun Wukong and Zhu Bajie when Xuanzang's party came across him. They consequently took him in, as part of the pilgrimage to the West.

In my story Sandy as a child he was a trouble maker but whenever he was confronted by someone he would but the blame on someone else, as he got older he got worse and worse and became more of a coward until one day when he was confronted by his mother and the rest of his family after this he decided to try and become a better person and started working as a cleaner for a high powered mob boss.
One day while cleaning late at night someone broke into the mob bosses building and Sandy tried to stop him but accidentally set of an alarm while fighting the thief. the thief dumped all of his loot onto Sandy and jumped out of a window instantly putting all of the blame on Sandy, he tried to prove his innocence but it went unheard and he was chased out of the building being shot at. after this a bounty was set on him and he went into hiding and his family disowned him.

He eventually began living near a bridge and met Umi and the gang when they were young and even though he constantly told them to leave him alone for some reason they took a liking to him and have stuck by him
since and even  though he won’t admit it he also has a soft spot for the gang, mostly because they protect him from the mob boss and his men.


Oddly enough I seemed to have swapped Pigsy's and Sandy's personalities around as Pigsy should be the cowardly one while Sandy should be the honorable one.

I picked the troll I designed before because I really liked his design and it fitted Sandy's original monster like appearance.
